Oviedo is 10-0 against Lyman since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Oviedo Lions' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lyman Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Hopefully Oviedo is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lyman in Florida (Oviedo is ranked 233rd, while Lyman is ranked 558th).

As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hopkins has scored all season. Maleah Dupa was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Lyman, who are still winless after their sixth game. They had to suffer through a rough 56-27 loss at the hands of Lake Mary.

Oviedo beat Lyman 40-27 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oviedo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
