One thing working in Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
Last Friday, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill strolled past Thales Academy Rolesville with points to spare, taking the game 67-49.
Smith was his usual excellent self, scoring 32 points along with five assists and five rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 13 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Kim, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas More Academy's game on Friday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Thales Academy Apex 56-41.
Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for St. Thomas More Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was able to grind out a solid win over St. Thomas More Academy in their previous meeting on January 5th, winning 64-54.
