They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 59-4 victory over New York School for the Deaf. With Marie Philip ahead 34-4 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Leading Marie Philip to victory were Jeremy Novas and Xavier DeLeon. Novas dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while DeLeon scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Riebe, who scored 9 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds.
Marie Philip's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for New York School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
