There's no place like home for Mayde Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Morton Ranch Mavericks on Friday as the Mayde Creek Rams made off with an 18-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won five in a row.

Mayde Creek got a massive performance out of Alexia Ruiz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Tyler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Mayde Creek's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Morton Ranch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mayde Creek and Morton Ranch will both be playing Cinco Ranch the next time they take the field. Mayde Creek will head out to face Cinco Ranch at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Morton Ranch will host them at 6:15 p.m. on March 18th.
