The Pacifica Tritons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their eighth straight loss. They fell 52-45 to Bernstein.
Despite the loss, Pacifica still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Dillon, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Dillon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Steven Pillado, who scored six points.
Pacifica has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Bernstein, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.
Pacifica will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Santa Barbara at 7:00 p.m. Santa Barbara is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Bernstein, they will head out on the road to square off against Hollywood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hollywood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1071st, while Bernstein is ranked 470th).
