The result was an unpleasant reminder to Kentucky School for the Deaf of the 57-21 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 9th.
Josh McClary continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Richmond HomeSchool, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. McClary is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Robinson, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Kentucky School for the Deaf's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Richmond HomeSchool, their victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kentucky School for the Deaf will face off against N.C. School for the Deaf at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. N.C. School for the Deaf will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 641st in North Carolina, while Kentucky School for the Deaf is ranked 286th in Kentucky). As for Richmond HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to face off against Robertson County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Robertson County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
