The Washington Christian Academy Wildcats were the 54-50 winner over the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Washington Christian Academy fell 42-35 to Spencerville Adventist Academy on Thursday. Washington Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was CJ Jenkins, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Reinhardt, who scored 11 points.
Washington Christian Academy bumped their record down to 2-2 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Spencerville Adventist Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Christian Academy will take on The Living Water School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spencerville Adventist Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Don Bosco Cristo Rey at 5:30 p.m. on January 17th.
