There's no place like home for Holy Redeemer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over MMI Preparatory School on Friday. Considering the Royals have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Nick Mazzarella was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Mazzarella was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Cody Quaglia was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Alex Gordon also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Holy Redeemer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .610. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Holy Redeemer pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for MMI Preparatory School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Holy Redeemer has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against Wyoming Area on the 3rd. As for MMI Preparatory School, they will welcome Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. MMI Preparatory School's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Knights have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
