The Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 79-31 win over Heritage Academy on the road. The win was nothing new for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts as they're now sitting on six straight.
Learning Foundation & Performing Arts' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julian Huerta led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jabari Lee, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Learning Foundation & Performing Arts pushed their record up to 7-2 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
After both having extra time off, Learning Foundation & Performing Arts and Ajo will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 8:00 a.m. on January 4, 2024. Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Imagine Prep at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
