They claimed a resounding 50-14 win over Superior at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Apache Junction has managed all season.
Apache Junction's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Omar Adam led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Josh Castro was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Apache Junction's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for Superior, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
