Woodward Academy put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Cross Creek Razorbacks with a sharp  61-37 victory. This was payback for the War Eagles, who suffered  a  55-23  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodward Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Delaney Cooper, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds. What's more,  Cooper also racked up seven  offensive rebounds, the most she's  had since back in December of 2023.  Lauryn Dennis-Cooper was another key player,  earning ten points along with five  steals.
 Cross Creek lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Madison Robertson, who  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 12  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Anitra Hamilton, who  had five points in addition to six  rebounds.
 Woodward Academy's record is now 3-0. As for Cross Creek,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Woodward Academy will welcome Chamblee  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Woodward Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three contests. As for Cross Creek, they will venture away from home to  square off against Lexington  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
