The Northwest Texans will face off against the Keller Central Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.4 points per game this season.

While Northwest's victory against Bell wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Texans skirted past the Blue Raiders 19-17. Those 19 points were actually the fewest the Texans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The critical scores for Northwest came from Caris Sela, Nic Curley, and Braden Wydner.

Northwest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Brady Taylor.

Meanwhile, Keller Central didn't have quite enough to beat V.R. Eaton on Thursday and fell 34-31. The defeat came about despite the Chargers having been up 20 in the second quarter.

Northwest's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Keller Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Northwest strolled past Keller Central when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-14. Do the Texans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
