The Fletcher Senators can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 58-31 win over Westside at home. The win was just what Fletcher needed coming off of a 57-15 loss in their prior game.
Mattie Gilliam was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Brylee Rains was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Fletcher pushed their record up to 9-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31 points. As for Westside, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fletcher will face off against St. Johns Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in St. Johns Country Day's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for Westside, they will head out on the road to take on Fernandina Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
