Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Has No Trouble Against Dover

Northeastern won the last time they faced Dover and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bobcats blew past the Eagles 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Northeastern took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-7, 25-7.

Lincoln Wertz paced Northeastern's offense, picking up seven kills. Wertz got some help from Jacob Zambito and his 11 assists. Wertz also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Dylan Zimmerman, racking up four apiece.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 16-7-5. As for Dover, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northeastern will face off against rival Susquehannock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dover is set to challenge their familiar foe Eastern York at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
