Sadly, the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders are still looking for their first win of the season after ten contests. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reagan on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for SA Roosevelt in their matchups with Reagan: they've now lost five in a row.
SA Roosevelt dropped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only scored one goal over those five matchups. As for Reagan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-3-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. SA Roosevelt will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Madison at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. As for Reagan, they will head out on the road to face off against Brandeis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Texas (Reagan is ranked 104th, while Brandeis is ranked 115th).
