The Lincolnview Lancers waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 60-46 win over St. John. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lincolnview also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Lincolnview found their leader in underclassman Keira Breese, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine assists. It was the first time this season that Breese posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Emerson Walker, who scored 16 points.
Lincolnview is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for St. John's, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincolnview will take on the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Allen East focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Thursday. As for St. John's, they will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Minster presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bluejays in Ohio (the Wildcats are ranked 86th, while the Bluejays are ranked 532nd).
