The South Central Satellites''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 40-15 walloping at the hands of Culver Community. South Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Culver Community apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August.
Jack Rodgers went supernova for Culver Community, rushing for 215 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. Rodgers 's longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. Jonas McCuen made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
South Central has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Culver Community, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9.
South Central will be playing at home against Culver Community at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Culver Community is ranked 277th, while South Central is ranked 289th).
