This season hasn't been kind to the Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They took a 54-39 bruising from East Jefferson on Saturday. If Livingston Collegiate Academy hoped to take revenge for the 61-31 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Leading East Jefferson to victory were Leyah Dejoie and Alyson Gueho. Dejoie scored 11 points, while Gueho scored 17 points.
Livingston Collegiate Academy dropped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for East Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Livingston Collegiate Academy will take on Academy of the Sacred Heart at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Jefferson's road trip will continue as they head out to face St. Martin's Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd. St. Martin's Episcopal's defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so East Jefferson's offense will have their work cut out for them.
