Haynes Academy extended their winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Mikayela Billiot. Haynes Academy enjoyed a cozy 53-35 win over the Ursuline Academy Lions on Thursday with plenty of help from Billiot, who posted 19 points. Her big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points.

When it comes to explaining why Ursuline Academy lost, don't look at Emma Dunkin. Despite the final result, she had 20 points.

Haynes Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ursuline Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Haynes Academy will challenge Livingston Collegiate Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ursuline Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Riverside Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
