The Kimball Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Molina Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kimball is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-7, which was the final score in Kimball's tilt against Hillcrest on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kimball has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Molina came up short against Madison on Tuesday and fell 43-34. Molina has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kimball's loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.7 points per game. As for Molina, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
Kimball took a serious blow against Molina when the teams last played back in January, falling 47-12. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Kimball was down 36-4.
