Northview Academy won the last time they faced Grainger and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Northview Academy Cougars' way against the Grainger Grizzlies as the Northview Academy Cougars made off with a 67-47 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Grainger's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adison Hayes, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points. What's more, Hayes also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024. Mckinley Mills was another key player, putting up eight points.

Northview Academy pushed their record up to 24-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Grainger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13.

Northview Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-25 victory against Fulton on the 12th. As for Grainger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-24 win against Cherokee on the 11th.
