The Drew Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 24 points or more this season. They blew past Rise University Prep 72-46. Winning may never get old, but Drew sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Drew was led to victory by Kian Chan and Teo Kimball-Directo. Chan scored 23 points along with five assists and four steals, while Kimball-Directo scored 26 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Kimball-Directo has scored at least 25% of Drew's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bastian Rothenberg, who scored four points along with ten rebounds.
Drew pushed their record up to 10-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Rise University Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Drew will head out on the road to face off against The Bay School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rise University Prep, they will be playing at home against Pinewood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
