The Silver Streaks extended the longest winning streak in Chicago Public - Big Shoulders this week by beating the Hornets, 26-12. The win marks fourth in a row for the Steinmetz.
Thanks to the talents of Samer Zabadneh and James Liss Taft has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Zabadneh leads the league in passing with 708 yards, while Liss has rushed for 914 yards this season. Foreman's Michael Hill leads the league in receiving yards with 462 on 16 catches.
Tim Mcnulty's team's Harris needs only 99 yards against Notre Dame next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Harris has rushed for 901 yards on 111 carries so far this year.
The Silver Streaks moved up to 291 from 344 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Steinmetz climbed the ranks as a result of topping Peter Grazzini's team 26-12.
