Marvin Moore Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Marvin Moore produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Callaway to the win on Friday. Moore rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Unfortunately for Columbus, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Moore. When Moore last faced the Falcons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 47 receiving yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Decorey Knight, Jr Leads Vicksburg over Neshoba Central
Vicksburg came up short on Friday despite DeCorey Knight, Jr delivering his best game to date. Knight, Jr's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.
Vicksburg is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Knight, Jr's next contest is against Warren Central on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Javon Bruce Makes It Two for Callaway
The second Callaway player making an appearance here is Javon Bruce, and for good reason. He picked up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Bruce has averaged 9.3 total tackles per game.

Elijah Adams Delivers Electric Effort Vs Warren Central
Elijah Adams continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least seven total tackles. He picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles (5.0 for loss).
Ridgeland is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3. Adams and Ridgeland will head out to face off against Callaway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Reynolds Posts Huge Game in 27-6 Win
Rounding off our Top Five is Larry Reynolds of Warren Central. Reynolds forced two fumbles and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss). He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made eight or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Reynolds is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Vicksburg on Friday. Reynolds made 12 total tackles (7.0 for loss) the last time he and the Gators duked it out back in October of 2023.
