Even though the East Panthers scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the McKinley Macks still came out on top. McKinley enjoyed a cozy 79-60 win over East. The victory made it back-to-back wins for McKinley.
Despite the loss, East still got an impressive performance from Mysean Morrison, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Morrison's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rhondell Johnson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
McKinley's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
McKinley and Bishop Timon-St. Jude will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th at. As for East, they will head out on the road to face off against Middle Early College at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
