Hope won the last time they faced Gurdon and things went their way on Friday too. The Hope Bobcats put the hurt on the Gurdon Go-Devils with a sharp 7-2 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

Hope now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gurdon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Hope duke it out with Mena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Hope their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Gurdon, they will take on Subiaco Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
