After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Bern, Ashley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Southwest Onslow Stallions 14-13. Saylor Cross made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Cross was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
