Clarksville Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Kenwood Knights as the Clarksville Academy Cougars made off with a 57-36 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clarksville Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sicily Robinson Ellington, who posted 13 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Robinson Ellington a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Anna Hellums, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

When it comes to explaining why Kenwood lost, don't look at Yazmine Pearson. Despite the final result, she had 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sy?Nya Seay, who put up seven points.

Clarksville Academy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points per game. As for Kenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Clarksville Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-55 loss against Silverdale Academy on the 7th. As for Kenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-49 defeat against Christian County on the 6th.
