Jamie White of Delbarton ran for the longest rushing play in Northwest Jersey - National this season against Roxbury last week. White scampered for 75 yards on the play and finished with 102 on the day as his team topped the Gaels.
West Morris Mendham moved up to 228 from 255 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Minutemen were able to make the jump by beating the Minutemen 21-20.
Kire Milevski was the best wideout in the league this week as Parsippany Hills beat Morristown. Milevski racked up six receptions for 85 yards. Tyler Bartro helped Parsippany Hills' passing attack out by catching two balls for 16 yards.
Carmine Verducci was the most productive running back in Northwest Jersey - National this week. He ran for 175 yards on 21 carries as the Vikings defeated the Colonials. Teammate Tyler Simms added to the ground attack by rushing for 33 yards.
Michael Bicknese threw for 183 yards and three touchdowns. He went 12-16 with one interceptions.
Parsippany Hills' Simms and Milevski have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Simms has thrown for 805 yards this season, while Milevski, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 26 catches for 336 yards. Roxbury's Donald Panciello leads the league in rushing yards with 664.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Delbarton takes on David Albano's team. Brian Bowers' team's offense has recorded 167 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Vikings have permitted only 39 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Parsippany Hills takes on the Green Wave. The Vikings are in third place, while Delbarton is in fourth place.
There should be lots of points scored when Parsippany Hills and the Green Wave face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Vikings comes in having scored 138 this season, while Delbarton has scored 167. Parsippany Hills scored 28 points last week as it topped Morristown.
The Green Wave extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Cosmo Lorusso's team, 42-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
