After flying high against Fayetteville Christian last Wednesday, The O'Neal School came back down to earth. The O'Neal School Falcons lost to the Trinity Christian Crusaders on the road by a 47-28 margin on Friday. Trinity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyleigh Goode, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Goode has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Janiah McBryde was another key player, going 5 for 7 on her way to 10 points and six steals.
The O'Neal School's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Trinity Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
