The Detroit Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christian Home Educators. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Christian Home Educators got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Koster out in front who scored 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Snyder, who scored 15 points.
Detroit's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Christian Home Educators, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Detroit will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Leverett's Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Christian Home Educators will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Texas Homeschool Sports at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
