A Season-Best Performance from Seth Lowry Leads Milton-Union over Bethel
Seth Lowry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Milton-Union to the win on Friday. Lowry rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also caught a touchdown.
The win (which was Milton-Union's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Lowry and Milton-Union will head out on the road to take on Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keeping Lowry company is Payton Mayfield, a fellow Milton-Union player. He rushed for 97 yards on only six carries, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.
Bethel had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Mayfield it was a similar story. When Mayfield last faced the Bees back in October of 2023, he picked up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Evan O'leary Delivers Electric Performance Vs Covington
Evan O'Leary was instrumental in extending Lehman Catholic's winning streak to seven on Friday. Covington had no answer to O'Leary as he picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns. O'Leary also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending a pass.
Lehman Catholic pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. O'Leary and Lehman Catholic will welcome Troy Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lehman Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Dillon Schmiesing. Covington had no answer to Schmiesing as he picked up 29 receiving yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Schmiesing has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 23.5 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.88 receiving yards per game.
