The Callaway Chargers scored first but ultimately less than the Warren Central Vikings in their match on Friday. They took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. Callaway has struggled against Warren Central recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Defeat or not, Callaway got some senior leadership from Jeremy Scott who picked up 159 receiving yards and three touchdowns and Kantrell Thomas Jr who threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns.
Callaway's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Warren Central, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Callaway will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Neshoba Central at 7:00 p.m. Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
