When it comes to explaining why East Poinsett County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kyla Harston. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Harston has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Jalyn Constant was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
East Poinsett County's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Forrest City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
