The Atlantic Sharks extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Astronaut War Eagles. They walked away with a 72-60 victory over the War Eagles. The win made it back-to-back wins for Atlantic.
It was another big night for Keenan Plummer, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Cris De La Pena was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six assists.
Atlantic is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Astronaut, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10.
Atlantic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-37 loss vs. Palm Bay on the 10th. Astronaut will square off against Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Highland Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Astronaut likes a good challenge.
