Volleyball Recap: Three Rivers Gets the Win

Three Rivers's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Fighting Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Three Rivers easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16.

Dani Glass paced Three Rivers' offense, picking up seven kills. Glass got some help from Miley Southland and her 19 assists. Kenadee Plotts controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Three Rivers' victory bumped their record up to 14-8-2. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7-3.

Three Rivers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Eaton Rapids on the 27th. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, they will face off against Mendon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
