The Hernando Leopards will head out to take on the Springstead Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Hernando gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Weeki Wachee as they made off with a 14-4 win. The Leopards not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11, 2025 (when they won 15-0).
LEANNA CLARK made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. CLARK was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Springstead's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let Nature Coast Tech get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now won five in a row.
The result came thanks to Alivia Miller's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Rachel Rivera, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
