Cobleskill-Richmondville enjoyed a cozy 57-38 win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk on Tuesday. Given Cobleskill-Richmondville's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk is ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hayden Wolfe and Rae Napierski certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Wolfe scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Napierski scored nine points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wolfe has scored all season.
Cobleskill-Richmondville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cobleskill-Richmondville will be home for the holidays to greet Voorheesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Voorheesville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk will be home for the holidays to greet Cohoes at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cohoes has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
