The Banks Braves put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Burns as Banks made off with a 38-13 win. The result was nothing new for Banks, who have now won seven matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.
Banks was led to victory by Max Walker and Kade Long. Walker picked up 79 receiving yards and four touchdowns, while Long threw for 187 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Justin Walters got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Banks' victory was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Burns, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Banks will take on North Valley at TBD on Friday. One thing working in North Valley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four contests. Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
