Estero (Fla.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as
Cody Long ran for a touchdown with 3:00 remaining, bringing the team to victory over
Barron Collier (Naples, Fla.) 35-31.
The Wildcats led 22-6 at halftime, but the Cougars regained the lead on a kick return touchdown by
Jason Moore with 2:00 left in the third.
Estero saw its 16-point halftime lead decrease to five entering the fourth.
The win was a nice bounce back for EHS, which lost to Gulf Coast last week, 36-19. The victory snapped Estero's three-game losing streak. The loss was the fourth in a row for Barron Collier.
