The match between Ellwood Christian and Tallassee wasn't particularly close, with Ellwood Christian falling 58-41. While losing is never fun, Ellwood Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Tallassee is ranked 189th).
Autaugaville's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-5. As for Ellwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
