Corcoran scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granite Hills Grizzlies. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Corcoran didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brayden Espinoza and Aiden Raya. Another thorn in Granite Hills' side was Juan Chavez, who picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles.

Corcoran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Granite Hills, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corcoran is set to face off against their familiar foe Woodlake at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Granite Hills will square off against rival Orange Cove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
