Yough took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Elizabeth Forward, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Warriors 14-13 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

The team relied heavily on Nate Bell, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Tyler Burkett was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.
