It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Byron Tigers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-7 win over the Golden Aces on the road. The victory was just business as usual for Byron, who after 14 games remain undefeated this season.
Despite the loss, Mt. Carmel still got an impressive performance from Blayne Sisson, who rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Sisson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.
Byron's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Mt. Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.
Byron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mt. Carmel also has no future games currently scheduled.
