After flying high against the Northern Heights Wildcats on Friday, the Osage City Indians came back down to earth. Osage City fell 49-38 to Heritage Christian Academy on Monday. Osage City lost against Heritage Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 65-61 score last time.
Heritage Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Pittman out in front who scored 15 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pittman has scored at least 25% of Heritage Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Prado, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Osage City's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osage City will take on Santa Fe Trail at TBD on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against West Franklin at 5:00 p.m.
