Meanwhile, everything went Eldred's way against Onteora on Friday as Eldred made off with a 50-30 victory. Eldred pushed the score to 50-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Onteora cut but never quite recovered from.
Eldred got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Koen McGill out in front who threw for 215 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Trai Kaufmann was another key contributor, picking up 140 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Millbrook/Webutuck's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.0 points per game. As for Eldred, their victory bumped their record up to 3-3.
