Dripping Springs stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They breezed by Anderson at home to the tune of 52-17. 52 seems to be a good number for Dripping Springs as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Dripping Springs can attribute much of their success to Maddox Maher, who threw for 101 yards and four touchdowns, and Jack Robert tyndall, who gained 156 total yards and two touchdowns. Robert tyndall is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played.
Meanwhile, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Vista Ridge made off with a 21-20 win over Round Rock. The win was just what Vista Ridge needed coming off of a 45-0 defeat in their prior game.
Grant Anderson was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 92 yards, and also threw for 87 yards and a touchdown.
Vista Ridge's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kaden Dees.
Dripping Springs' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Vista Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
