This season hasn't been kind to the Gainesville Christian Community Warriors, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They had to suffer through a rough 50-18 loss at the hands of First Christian. Gainesville Christian Community has not had much luck with First Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
First Christian found their leader in underclassman Reagan Davis, who scored 36 points along with four steals and two blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of First Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Graham, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Gainesville Christian Community's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for First Christian, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.
Gainesville Christian Community will take on Saint Francis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Open Bible Christian at 6:00 p.m.
