Aldine has gone 9-1 against Eisenhower recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Aldine's favor as the squad sits on 12 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Eisenhower has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Aldine earned a 9-5 win over Benjamin Davis. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Jansyel Barbosa and Gabriel Nunez were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Barbosa struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Nunez pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts Barbosa has posted since back in April of 2024. At the plate, Barbosa scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Nunez scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alberto Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Alexander Martinez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Eisenhower had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They won by a run and slipped past Nimitz 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 11th.
Like Aldine, Eisenhower also got a great game from a two-way player: Abraham Medina. He didn't allow a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched. Medina also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Eisenhower is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-11 otherwise. Medina was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Medina wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Gourley, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Gourley has become a key player for Eisenhower: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-13 otherwise.
Eisenhower's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Aldine, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
