Lake Station Edison will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Hammond Bishop Noll is ranked 50th).
Lake Station Edison's 22-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They had to suffer through a rough 84-38 loss at the hands of Bowman Academy. Lake Station Edison was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.
Meanwhile, Hammond Bishop Noll unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bloom. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lake Station Edison's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Lake Station Edison skirted past Hammond Bishop Noll 73-70 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Station Edison since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
